Ah Santorini! What a beauty you are. A gem in the Greek Islands, with sheer cliffs and pretty picture perfect whitewashed towns teetering on their edges, makes Santorini a unique and stunning place to have your wedding day.
James and Gemma fell in love with this place and pretty much knew straight away it was where they wanted to have their wedding. They asked me to come out to photograph and to share their day with them and of course it was a privilege to do so!
As a destination wedding photographer the island of Santorini is a dream to photograph. It’s incredibly picturesque, and like with every wedding I like to tell the story by capturing the details of the surroundings and local life.
It’s so important to do this, as in years to come when couple’s look back at their wedding photos and to show younger generations, to be able to see the surrounding environment and to relive how it was then is a fundamental element for me to photograph on a wedding day.
James and Gemma’s Santorini wedding was really very special and one I thoroughly enjoyed being part of.
