Wedding Photographer UK

“Thank you so so much.   The pictures are absolutely wonderful!!   You really captured the day, and some.   We couldn’t be happier with them”    James and Georgie.

James and Georgie contacted me at the beginning of the year about photographing their Kent wedding for them.  The focus of the day would be centred around the beautiful home of Georgie’s grandmother near the village of Warehorne, and this is where I started my day covering Georgie’s bridal preparations.

The house was quite simply a dream to photograph in, every room having its unique character with abundance of low beams and soft light flooding through the windows.  In one room I found Georgie’s grandmother herself, still in her rollers, making a stunning chocolate cake and is one of my favourite pictures.  It’s because it captures the family effort that goes into a wedding day that so often goes unseen, and whist the rest of the house went about getting ready there was this quiet corner with the finishing touches going into the cake.  As a documentary wedding photographer it’s these moments that make my job so rewarding.

It was then onto St Matthews Church in Warehorne where James was calmly waiting, and for a beautiful ceremony where all heads turned for Georgie’s entrance in her stunning handmade dress by the exceptionally talented Emma Tindley.

Afterwards it was back to the cottage for drinks, music and some great speeches!

Below are a handful of images from the day, and if like what you see please feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page, or even to share on facebook or twitter.
